Scottish Highland Cattle

One look at these hairy fellows is enough, and you have fallen in love with the gentle eyes. But not only hikers love these diminutive cattle; breeders love them, too: They are sturdy and perfect for year-round free range living, with their heavy winter furry sweater. They are easy to care for (eg they calve easily) and provide also exquisite, low cholesterol meat.

Is it any wonder that Scottish Highland cattle, which are incidentally the oldest registered domestic breed, have made their way from the northwest of Scotland into our RESERVE and immediately conquered all hearts by storm?
